How to participate in the Kava 10 Launch Giveaway
To celebrate the Kava 10 mainnet upgrade and the launch of Kava’s Ethereum and Cosmos Co-Chains, Kava is giving away $250K in KAVA prizes.
Detailed conditions of the contest can be found on Kava’s blog. I will remind you of the basic information.

The Kava 10 Launch Giveaway will feature two prize pools. One for new and existing users experiencing #CosmosEVM for the first time, and one special prize pool just for the OG #KavaSquad.

How to Participate in the Giveaway
Before the start, you need to install and create an account in one of the wallets/extensions: Trust, Ledger or Keplr. You also need to install a MetaMask wallet/extension and create an account there. You can find instructions on how to do this on your own in a Google search.
Step 1. Go to app.kava.io and log in using one of the wallets: Trust, Ledger, Keplr.
Step 2. Go to the Balances tab and check the amount of KAVA on your address in the list of assets. Must be at least 10.5 KAVA.
Step 3. Transfer your Kava to a special address for conversion. To do this, go to a special page through the tab wKava in the menu.
Click Connect MetaMask
In MetaMask, we will be offered to change the network to kava EVM (click Switch network).
After that, the Deposit KAVA button will be activated and turn blue. You need to click on it.
Copy the address that you see on your screen. (do not copy the address in the screenshot, this is mine)
You need to go back to the Balances page and click Send your KAVA
You need to enter the copied address here, the amount of KAVA (the system recommends at least 10.5 KAVA for some reason) and press the Send button.
Step 4. Convert KAVA to wKAVA. Return to the wKAVA page. 10.5 KAVA, which we transferred should already be displayed here.
Enter 10 KAVA and click on Exchange.
A MetaMask window should appear with a confirmation of the transaction, where we click Confirm.
We will be returned to the conversion screen, where Processing will hang for some time. We need to wait 10–20 seconds before we receive a message about a successful conversion.
Next, in MetaMask, you will see a message asking you to add the wKava token to the general list of assets. As a result, you should see it on the assets tab.
Congratulations, you made it! Now you are a participant of the giveaway from Kava. Don’t transfer wKava from the MetaMask address until the end of the contest — June 15, 23:59 UTC.
